Environmental Responsibility

Reducing Energy Use

We aim to improve energy efficiency across our estate. Where possible, we invest in energy efficient equipment, lighting and heating systems within our pubs. We encourage tenant partners to adopt responsible energy practices, including monitoring usage, maintaining equipment and considering upgrades that reduce consumption.

We continue to review emerging technologies and practical solutions that can support lower energy use without compromising the day to day running of our pubs.

Waste Management and Recycling

We promote responsible waste management across our estate. This includes encouraging recycling, reducing unnecessary packaging and working with suppliers who share our commitment to minimising waste.

Tenant partners are supported in understanding local recycling options and waste management requirements. By improving segregation and reducing landfill waste, we aim to lessen our environmental footprint.

Water Conservation

Water is a vital resource within the pub sector. We encourage responsible water use through routine maintenance, leak prevention and the installation of efficient fixtures where appropriate. Monitoring and awareness form part of our broader environmental approach.

Responsible Sourcing

We recognise the importance of working with suppliers who operate ethically and responsibly. Where possible, we seek to engage suppliers that demonstrate environmental awareness, fair labour practices and responsible production methods.
