The Rolle Quay has recently been invested in both internal with general decoration and external with a decoration and signage scheme completed in July 2024.
Situated on the Quay in Barnstaple just over the bridge from the town centre. The pub can be found on the main road heading out of Barnstaple towards Braunton.
The Rolle Quay Inn is an open plan two-room style pub on the banks of the river Yeo. The larger of the two rooms can be busy with food orders at mealtimes, while the smaller one focuses on a pool table, darts, and sports. There are 50 covers and a trade kitchen on the first floor with a dumb waiter.
The pub also benefits from three letting rooms which are well-used throughout the year by both tourists and contractors.
Beyond the external areas to the rear, there is a function room which also includes a skittle alley. There are two levels to the rear, all decked and with an external staircase in between them. There are around 30 covers externally.
The private accommodation has two bedrooms and a lounge with a bathroom. There are also rooms in the upper parts which could possibly be converted into letting rooms. The accommodation has no separate kitchen but is adjacent to the trade kitchen.
