The Anchor Inn is located on the outskirts of the well-known and attractive town of Boroughbridge, in North Yorkshire, part of the West Ridings. The Great North Road (A1), is a couple of miles away giving great access to visit the beautiful local countryside. Close by is the river and a static caravan park, which has many guests in season.
The pub is a standalone site and underwent an extensive refurbishment less than 2 years ago, to both the interior and exterior, and is in great condition. It does not require much more than enthusiasm and personality to get trading to its full potential. Known recently for its traditional fish and chips menu, there is however scope for an extended menu. There is a fully functional catering kitchen which may require additional equipment based on the style of food offered.
The pub also has two letting rooms, which are currently in need of investment.
The pub has a large car park to the front, which includes some seating and there is a lovely terraced drinking area, within the walled garden to the side.
The private accommodation consists of three bedrooms a kitchen a bathroom and a lounge.
